Beauty Bible Loves... Ishga Hydra + Oil

This is already an award-winner – ‘Best Facial Oil’, in the Woman & Home Awards 2026 – and we’re so not surprised.

Because it’s a fact: skin needs oil and water (just as the rest of our bodies need food and drink). Using a facial oil alone won’t plump and quench skin; it may make it feel nice, for a few days, but ultimately the lack of moisture starts to show. (We’ve actually experienced this ourselves, on vacation, having packed just a body oil or just a facial oil, without moisture back-up.)

So, there is hyaluronic acid in ishga Hydra + Oil – famously moisturising – along with ishga’s signature seaweed extract, borage oil, argan, castor seed oil and more. The scent? Frankincense and geranium essential oils feature, which happen to be among our fragrant faves, delivering a spa-like scent. So, it supports barrier repair, softens dehydration lines and imparts a fresh, dewy – but importantly, not greasy – sheen, for all skintypes.

What’s more, ishga are also offering a particularly brilliant Gua Sha for massaging the oil in, for extra radiance – a smooth metallic sculpted tool, in this case, which we’d say is worth the extra investment. (It sold out immediately – again, not surprised – but is back in stock.)

One last plus? Soil Association-certified organic, with it. (And that still means a lot, to us, when brands jump through those certification hoops, to confirm their sustainable sourcing claims.)
