Omorovicza Instant Plumping Cream

Is there anyone alive who doesn't want a bit of 'instant plumping' (of the face, anyway)? This indulgent-in-every-way treat from Omorovicza is about to come into its own the minute the central heating gets switched on, and skins turn from summer-dewy to winter-parched before you can say 'hyaluronic acid'.

Previously, this was positioned as a 'sleep mask'. But perhaps because not enough people get their head around that concept, even now, it's been repositioned as an all-round smoothing, replenishing night skin treat. (Basically, even we have trouble distinguishing between 'sleep masks' and night creams – but might just use the former occasionally, as opposed to every night.)

Delectably indulgent, it features a raft of rich complexion goodness, including (like everything this Hungarian-inspired beauty brand create) their patented Healing Concentrate, which deliver therapeutic minerals to skin. (Hungarian beauty treatments (and we'll be reporting on an Omorivicza facial, soon) harness ingredients like anti-inflammatory Moor mud. For many years, by the way, London's leading facialists, working their magic on aristocratic and royal faces, were of Hungarian origin.)

Here, in a rich and luscious cream, you'll find ceramides, omega/oleic/linoleic fatty acids, sea mayweed (said to relax facial muscles), apricot and plum oils and (sure enough) lashings of hyaluronic acid, boosted by konjac glucommanan – new to us, but apparently used in Chinese medicine because it absorbs up to 200 times its weight in water, for long-lasting hydration.

We say: call it a sleep mask, call it a night cream, call it a 'plumping' cream – this is fabulous stuff, if budget allows.
