L’Occitane Divine Cream Mask

From 0-60 in oh, about 40 seconds – that tells you all you need to know about the speed of our love affair with ‘sleeping masks’. A year ago we barely knew they existed (invented in Korea, apparently); now we can’t imagine living without them. And – based on the success of L’Occitane Divine Cream (almost the highest-scoring miracle cream we’ve ever trialled in our ‘miracle cream’ category) – we certainly couldn’t wait to try the new Divine Mask addition to this bestselling skincare collection.

It doesn’t disappoint. Same gorgeous aromatic, whisk-you-to-Corsica scent. Same luscious texture as Divine (only a bit thicker). Same skin-plumping effects – even more swiftly: we’re enjoying applying this last thing at night for amazing overnight results. Skin is definitely plumper, yes. Brighter. (No early morning ‘blahs’.) Less lined? Might have to give it a bit more time for that, but meanwhile this is sensory bliss – a new, two- or three-times-a-week addiction.

The how-to: cleanse thoroughly. Smooth on a fairly thick ‘coat’ of Divine Mask an hour or so before bedtime. (Ideally scoop hair back from forehead first). Ideally, use the little gold ‘knuckleduster’ that comes with: one side’s knobbly, the other smooth – and it’s just brilliant for de-puffing (and de-stressing the jawline, too), if you follow the massage technique in the enclosed leaflet. (For which you will need your reading glasses, NB.)

It will have sunk in by the time you hit your pillow – and we‘re pretty darned certain you’ll see a difference by the very next morning.

And all you’ve got to do is zzzzz….
