Beauty Bible Loves... WeKind Rejuvenate haircare

‘Gosh, your hair looks great.’

‘Your hair’s looking very shiny.’

‘Nice hair!’

Three compliments like that, and you know you’re on to a winner, haircare-wise – which is what happened, from the first time we used WeKind’s Rejuvenate haircare duo, recently.

To be honest, we get sent lots of haircare and much of it is… well, alright. So, when these two white bottles landed on the desk, did we have high expectations? No, we did not. But the results speak for themselves: shiny, swingy hair, not weighed down, not frizzy – the very embodiment of a ‘Great Hair Day’, actually.

WeKind’s Rejuvenate products are targeted at ‘menopausal hair’, putting the ‘M’ word loud and proud on the packaging and setting out to address the problem of hair fall and lack of volume that can be another of menopause’s woes for many women. TBH, that’s not a problem for us – and having used this just a few times, we can’t attest to its promise of reducing hair fall and stimulating new growth.’ (That’s quite a claim.) But we do think that it lives up to the claim of enhancing hair strength and quality – hence that shine, those compliments, and the sheer manageability after using the Rejuvenate products.

WeKind’s founder Kelly Simpkin-Clarke has 15 years’ experience at Nicky Clarke Mayfair under her belt, and originally created her own range to tackle pregnancy haircare problems. She describes it as a ‘Woman-Kind range for hair, body and soul,’ and worked with a gynaecologist and obstetrician – Claire Mellon, MBCHB, MRCOG COST – to create haircare ‘scientifically sound’ solutions for perimenopausal/menopausal women.

With a truly lovely scent (we’d call it ‘spa-like’), ingredients here include strengthening and frizz-beating rosemary extract, betaine and biotin, alongside more high-tech stuff – but no parabens, silicones, sulphates, mineral oils or phthalates. (Vegan, too.)

It’s very much NOT high street haircare prices – but we’re honestly impressed. (And we’re definitely here for the compliments.)
