ESPA Positivity Bath & Body Oil

This is how long we’ve been doing this job: we were at the very, very first launch for ESPA, hosted in a 1930s building in London’s Lancaster Gate, where the bathroom had been styled with sleek, speckle-topped glass jars and – more importantly – the whole flat smelled completely and utterly mood-shiftingly marvellous. If our memories serve us correctly, that was back in (yup) 1991.

Since then, ESPA has gone on to launch lots of excellent (and in many cases Beauty Bible Award-winning) skincare, more bodycare, candles – and of course can be found in spas all around the globe. (We do a little dance on discovering that a hotel has an ESPA spa, frankly.)

But at the same time, ESPA isn’t a brand that launches newness every day. They do it in what we know to be a considered way. It is therefore quite big news to share with you the recent launch of Positivity Bath & Body Oil, which – as the name suggests – can be used either directly on skin, or slooshed in the bath for a spirit-lifting soak.

The scent is a bit like summer, bottled – and a good way to cling onto that if (like us) you are in no way ready to embrace autumn. Essential oils of rose geranium, gardenia, jasmine, sweet orange and bergamot are honestly smile-making, as the name suggests.

Bottom line: we’re still feeling the love, and that has rekindled all those positive feelings from Way Back When.
