Ateh Jewel x SpaceNK The Glow Box

Oh, gosh, THIS IS EXCITING. Yesterday afternoon, we opened the box above, during its last-minute Zoom unveiling –  and were really rather blown away.

The Glow Box is an utterly brilliant #collab between our beauty editor friend Ateh Jewel – whose writing we are proud to have showcased here, over the years – and good old SpaceNK. And it went on sale this very morning. We're delighted that after so many years in the business, Ateh's finally getting the recognition she deserves.

TBH, if we'd curated a box designed to boost glow ourselves, we'd have chosen many of these same products. (Though TBH we've also discovered two new items of fabulousness here, for the very first time. Thanks for the intro, guys!) So, inside you'll find full sizes of the following...

Votary Facial Oil – Neroli and Myrrh. Votary's oils are the beauty editors' darlings – this one is perfect for combi skin (which we know so many of you have), tackling both excess oil production, dryness, lack of radiance and uneven skintone.

REN Clean Skincare Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask. A longstanding fave quick-fix of ours – use once a week and your radiant skin will thank you for it.

By Terry Lash-Expert Twist Brush Mascara. Well this is one of the new ones – and we'll absolutely be reviewing this in more detail in due course, but suffice to say it's got one of the cleverest brushes that we've ever used, transforming itself from a long, thin wand into a twisted wand that delivers volume. We’re BLOWN AWAY.

Fresh Sugar Hydrating Lip Balm (Blood Orange). Our other new fave find within the collection: a divine, sweet tinted lip balm that deepens natural lip tone. Straight in the handbag, this one. (Or what passes for one, in this very unflashy new normal.)

Chantecaille Pure Rosewater. We've love this for forever – one of the nicest rosewaters EVER, with 'hand-harvested rose petals distilled in artesian well water' – great after make-up removal, or as a mid-afternoon complexion-reviving facial spritz.

Aveda Sap Moss Shampoo and Conditioner. Ateh famously has mega coils, herself, but this de-frizzer is great for anyone who wants to calm frizz, tackle dryness and have glassily shiny.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed (Chocolate Geode). A fab, gold-flecked luminous powder that is deep enough for Ateh's complexion, yet works surprisingly well as a highlighter/touch of shimmer on pale complexions. Quite the morph-er.

As you have probably already divined, this collection is definitely not cheap – it’s £125 – but the contents are worth £240 individually (frankly, we thought that total would be higher). It’s a brilliant introduction to some absolutely fantastic products, and over and above this collaboration, SpaceNK deserve kudos for pledging £10,000 when Ateh launches her charitable foundation to support black students through higher education, as part of this partnership.

And you know: when a girl’s gotta glow, a girl’s gotta glow…
