It is nigh on impossible right now to go into a shop and smell fragrances. And don’t fragrances, like flowers, lift the heart and spirits…? Well, we definitely need more of that, right now.
But with The Perfume Society’s Discovery Boxes, the whole idea has always been to try fragrance at home – not feeling hurried or rushed or having a sales consultant steer you in a different direction to what you had in mind. The Perfume Society, FYI, was set up by Beauty Bible’s Jo (Fairley) with fragrance expert Lorna McKay six years ago, and has since been called ‘the world’s most authoritative website’. These boxes, meanwhile, are at the heart of what the Society does – enabling you to try scents at your leisure, to find your next fragrance ‘loves’.
This latest, Launches We Love, showcases nine fragrances including two 7.5ml sizes of cult fragrance brand Escentric Molecules’ latest duo, 05, along with a 25ml size of skinSense Anti-Ageing Highly Active Day Cream, worth £17 alone.
