Little Butterfly London Babycare
This week (and some of next) we'll be showcasing on Beauty Bible some of our favourite finds from last week's Natural & Organic Products Show, at Excel. It was a fantastic show: we thought we'd whizz round in a couple of hours and ended up staying all day! When Gudrun Wurm had her own baby, she realised there was a massive gap in the market for luxury organic babycare. We have luxe skincare for adults - why not pamper babies' and toddlers' tender little skins in the same way...? So tapping into her own experience in the luxury industry, she came up with a range of beautiful bathtime treats for babies, which also feel pampering for mothers to use...
• Dewdrops at Dawn Body Lotion, with cucumber seed oil, cocoa butter, soothing oat kernel extract, oils of papaya, peach and apricot kernel, and lightly fragranced with meadowsweet extract, mandarin and orange pure essential oils.
• Fall into Dreams Massage Oil - a beautifully nourishing blend of the highest quality oils including argan, apricot, jojoba, peach kernel, rosehip, calendula and ultra-light grapeseed oils, blended with mandarin and orange essential oils - 'as warming and soothing as a lullaby', as Gudrun puts it.
• Soft as Moonlight Nappy Change Cream - this is Little Butterfly London's 'hero' product: a really healing, protective cream that shields this most delicate area of a baby's body with protective, nourishing oils. Ingredients were specially selected for sensitive skins: calendula, chamomile, mango seed butter, cocoa and shea butters, buttermilk, peach kernel and cucumber seed oils - 100% natural. (And - rather like the Waitrose Baby Bottom Butter, which was such a runaway bestseller for them - it works on grown-up faces rather well, too!)
All of the collection is organically-certified by Ecocert, hypoallergenic, dermatologically-tested - and free from all the nasties you want to avoid on your sweet little person. They're widely recommended by medical experts and midwives - and hey, you may also want to redecorate your baby's bedroom to go with them, which isn't something that'll often happen with a babycare range.
