Lanolips 101 Fruities Capsule Collection

This is the second treat Lanolips's founder Kirsten Carriol had up her sleeve, as she flew through London recently.

Generally, we don't adore fruity lip balms. They simply taste synthetic. Tentatively, we smoothed the angled nozzle for the tube onto our lips - and were instantly in love. The flavours/scents are subtle - and authentic.

Created from award-winning Lanolips 101 Ointment, they're all packed wtih vitamin E and lanolin - but also feature genuine fruit extracts which deliver specific results. Strawberries feature AHA alpha-hydroxy acids (gentle ones), so that flavour's gently exfoliating. (Not enough to make your lips flake, though.)

Peach is our favourite: it's light, sinks in easily and nourishes with a combination of polyunsaturate fatty acids and vitamins. Delish.

And Apple's a good outdoorsy choice, because the antioxidants act as natural environmental protection.

We say: at £7.99, go for the whole fruitbowl.
