Jo Malone Red Roses Scent Surround Diffuser
Fragranced rooms are a delight. It could be flowers – our scented narcissi are just coming into joyful bloom now – candles or, more recently, scent sticks (properly called reeds, or 'batonnets' en Français) that you pop in an elegantly chunky jar of perfumed oil, which slowly rises up the wick, scenting the room. Sarah popped into her spare room in London recently and started sniffing appreciatively, wondering which guest had left their scent behind, only to realise that it was the Red Roses Diffuser she had put on the chest of drawers. Whereupon she brought it up to her desk immediately! (It lasts for ages and ages, and you can pop the top back on to store it up.) What we especially like about the Jo Malone scent sticks it that they're black in colour: most are white, and can look a bit - well, grubby, when the oil's risen up the stick.
The Jo Malone brand has always been pitch-perfect on fragrance and when it extended the range to household delights, we were delighted! (Almost unadulterated ecstasy when we found the Lime Basil & Mandarin scented drawer liners and the sachets, which you can read about here…)
Red Roses is an all-time all-round favourite for us and for our houses. And right now, that summer's-just-around-the-corner feeling is very welcome indeed.
