Heathcote & Ivory Enchanted Walk Bathing Flowers

We're having a little Heathcote & Ivory love affair at the moment:  they have so many beauteous pressies in their ranges (think:  Cath Kidston, Beau Jardin etc.), the website's almost a one-stop shop for the beauty-hounds on our list.  (And it's a long list, trust us.) Now, these 'bathing flowers' ought to be naff.  But they're actually not, in any way:  'bathing flowers' which look just like silk roses, but toss them in the tub and they unfurl to scent the water with a gorgeous fruity-floral scent:  Madagascan violets, lychee, cassis, plum, citrus, lily of the valley and lotus flower.  There's white musk, sandalwood and cedarwood in the base, too (those notes even more obvious in the drawer liners from the same range, with which Jo's lined her own drawers).

We've put ours in a bonbon dish by the bath.  Almost too pretty to use.

But we did say 'almost'.
