Dior Hydra-Life Pro-Youth Sorbet Essence
But we love a 'sorbet' for skin, too: it's such an apt word, for a product with a meltingly moisturising texture. From Dior's deliciously skin-quenching Hydra-Life range, this is a new age-defying creation which is a pure joy to apply. Slightly cooling, plumping - like a long, cool drink of water, basically, for thirsty skins. (Which ours always have a tendency towards.) It's not, though, over-rich - and we'd prescribe this for our many 'combination-complexioned' readers, because it's pure moisture, rather than pure nourishment - and should you be interested in 'the science bit', it works by 'stimulating the three levels of "aquaporins", the skin's essential hydration channels.'
Bottom line? We can't attest to its long-term benefits. (We mostly rely on our Beauty Bible testers for feedback on that, since there's only so many square centimetres of skin we can muster between us in the office - and that's certainly not enough to try all the anti-ageing products we're sent, ourselves.)
But skin just looks instantly 'healthier', somehow - and that's not a bad place to start, for this oh-so-moreish 'sorbet'.
