Spiezia Organic Facial Cleanser, £24 for 60 ml. Eat your heart out, Eve Lom: this cleanser melts make-up away and leaves skin deliciously fragrant with clary sage, chamomile and eucalyptus. A little goes a very long way, so it’s quite economical in the long run.
Spiezia Organic Bath Oil, £20 for 100 ml. Absolutely fabulous at the end of a wearying day – doesn’t zonk you out, but when you emerge at the end of your soak, you can virtually watch your stresses swirling away down the plughole. Sarah and Jo both love the ylang-ylang, rose, sweet orange and lavender fragrance.
Spiezia Organic Body Oil, £22 for 100 ml. Jo uses this after bathing, and is mad about the aromatic smell, which is a combination of lemon, rosemary, chamomile, mint and thyme. Because sesame oil features high on the list of ingredients, it sinks in pretty swiftly, too.
Spiezia Organic Calendula Ointment, £15.75 for 30 ml. When Jo’s ‘beauty editor’s skin’ erupts – small patches of eczema, due to overloading skin while trying products – this is what she turns to, and within 24 hours, it’s gone. Olga Polizzi has also raved: ‘I’ve had eczema around my eyes for 17 years, but since using these products it’s disappeared.’ Truly miraculous.
Spiezia Organic Foot Balm, £16 for 30 ml. Fabulously softening and instantly soothing (great if you’ve been on your feet all day), with zingy peppermint, chamomile, eucalyptus, rosemary and lavender. Makes history of cracked heels, too.

Dear Sarah and Jo
My son James, 13, was suffering with eczema on the shins of his legs. The doctor gave him some ointment but it did not improve at all. A friend suggested it might be a reaction to the shin pads he wore for football - a problem that a lot of boys have, so I've been told since.
I had bought the Spiezia Lip Balm and the After-Sun Oil last year and remembered reading about the ointments so I decided to send for the Calendula and Propolis Ointments. They were here within a day - Spiezia are great for next-day delivery. James’s legs were very dry, cracked and sore. We put the ointment on three times a day and within a week it had completely cleared up. He now puts the ointment on underneath his shin pads and he has not had any problems since. His skin is now lovely.
My mum had an operation and after anaesthetic she always suffers from really dried-out lips - all sore and cracked. I bought her the Spiezia Lip Balm and she never suffered once; in fact the nurses all wanted to know where we bought it.
My niece had eczema on her elbows and the calendula cleared it up and left the skin on her elbows really soft, something she had not experienced for years.
I myself use the Propolis Ointment and find it the most soothing thing ever. I am diabetic and keep getting recurring boils - a problem for a lot of diabetics. I kept on getting a boil in my groin, which was so painful that some days I could not even sit down.. My sister who’s a nurse said I should go to the hospital to get it lanced. So that night I had a bath, smothered the boil with Propolis ointment, then put more ointment on a muslin cloth, placed it on the boil and left it on overnight. Straight away it felt easier and by the next morning when I took the muslin cloth away the boil had completely drained and there was no soreness at all.
I'm sorry if I have waffled on a bit but the Spiezia ointment and the other things that I have purchased from them are in my opinion truly wonderful. I tell others about Spiezia and they think the same as me.
So thank you for your fantastic web site - I would probably not have discovered Spiezia and all its wonderful products otherwise. They’re not cheap but you really do get what you pay for.
