There’s something for every beauty-hound at Beauty Expert. Skincare, make-up, fragrance (and gorgeous make-up bags), terrific tools (especially now they offer shu uemura)... Oh, many a happy hour could be spent beauty-surfing here, without someone spritzing a fragrance at you or trying to sell you something you don’t want.
All these are available to you at a special 10% discount– just click here for the BEAUTY EXPERT INSIDER DISCOUNTS page for a complete list, which almost certainly includes brands you’re already loving and buying, but available at a chunky discount. Whenever you want to access this discount, just click through to Beauty Expert from our site – and the 10% is deducted automatically at the checkout, if you do that…
What’s more if you check out www.mankind.co.uk, their ‘sister’ site – or maybe that should be ‘brother’ site – a world-class range of men’s skincare and fragrance, too. And the same discount applies…
Each edition we surf on your behalf to bring you an ‘edit’ of what we’re loving - so here are Beauty Bible’s spring picks…
Jemma Kidd Firming I-Crème Duo, £20 (we like Cashmere best). These are real grab-and-go cream eyeshadows: completely klutz-proof, you sweep onto eyelids with a finger for instant subtle lid-shading, and they transform to a powder finish. Couldn’t be quicker. (They’re also said to have an anti-ageing effect on eyes, though we couldn’t swear to that…) In each of the three subtly different neutral taupe palettes you’ll also find a subtly glimmering highlighter for brows.
Becca Crème Blush, £22.50, in Amaryllis. The softest, smoothest, most skin-compatible cream blusher we know (a longstanding favourite of Jo’s), in a universally flattering tawny rose. Apply with fingers, or a foundation brush.
Molton Brown Naran Ji Fine Liquid Hand Wash, £15 for 300 ml., and Naran Ji Soothing Hand Lotion, £15. Always worth reminding readers of a total classic! Our little hearts always do a joyous skip when we walk into a loo and find these on the basin: we’d classify this as the world’s best hand-wash and hand cream duo, with its pretty orange-y scent and the optimum texture for a cream. Leaves hands silky-smooth, and sinks in super-swift. So remember: you can always replenish your supplies at a 10% discount if you go to Beauty Expert via our site.
Rodial GlamOxy Snake Serum, £125 for 25 ml (but your hefty ‘insider discount’ means it’s £12.50 cheaper!) At one point this product is said to have had a waiting list of 100,000 women! Why? Well, it features an ingredient derived from snake venom which is alleged to ‘freeze’ frown-lines etc. Currently we’re putting it through its paces with our Beauty Bible testers, but thought we’d flag up that this smooth, smoothing serum is available sans waiting list at Beauty Expert right now…
OPI Alice in Wonderland Collection, £9.65 each (but you save 95p). These feature in Jo’s We … list this update, especially Absolutely Alice – a crazily glittery teal blue – but we’re also loopy about fabulous shimmering fire engine Off With Her Red. (Both will look fantastic with summer’s navy fashions…)
Philip Kingsley Pure Silver Shampoo, £14, and Pure Silver Conditioner, £17 (both prices for 250 ml). We’re often asked about the best way to stop blonde hair from going brassy, or tone down the yellowness that naturally grey hair can be prone to. And now hair guru Philip Kingsley has the answer: a shampoo and conditioner duo from the world-famous trichologist which contains optical brighteners and the teensy-weeniest touch of violet tones to eliminate discolouration. And did we tell you it’s fantastically shine-boosting, too…?
